WII2HDMI converter is related deeply with the TV.we suggest to use 480P for wii-output and also suggest buyer connect it twice.
The first step is to connect the device and adjust it to 480P. Then turn off the-for Wii, to pull down converter, plug it again, then start again,the effect will be better.
About the SOUND part, buyer needs to use better for WII-color output.This product just makes a analog to digital conversion of voice.It is impossible to achieve a high fidelity sound cause it is color + stereo turn HDMI,pls understand it!
